1. Laser rays are dangerous!
Truth: Laser for permanent epilation (tricholaser) beams light of certain wave lenght, which penetrates skin for only few milimeters, and which is focused only on hair folicule, aiming only pigment melanine, which brings to mild heating of sorrounded skin strucutre (selective phototermolysis). Practicaly, only hair is being destroyed permanently, depending on the cyclus of growth. This is the reason method is safe for skin and overall health.

2. Laser is not recommendable for armpits or region around nipples
Truth: Method of permanent epilation is safe for treatment of whole body, except the area around eyes, thus is safe to treat armpits, and nipples and areolas area. Laser light does not penetrates into tissues and structures beneath the skin surface, and for that reason cannot damage them.

3. Treatment cannot be done in summer time
Truth: Treatments can be done safely in summer time. Confusion probably occurs because it is known that best effects are achieved when skin has its basic color, but also skin with mild sun tan can be effectively treated.
It is important to follow few suggestions, especially in summer: for treated body parts it is essential to use creams or lotions with high sun block, and before treatment it is advisable not to expose body to sun rays or to visit solariums.

4. Laser leaves burns and scars
Truth: With right treatment, as well as by choosing right parameters on right appliance, and by being treated by an expert, it is possible to avoid such inconvenience.

5. Epilation can not be done on patients with hormonal disorder
Truth: More than 60% of patients treated with laser for permannet hair removal are those with hormonal disorders!

6. Ingrown hair for epilation with laser
Truth: Ingrown hair problem is one of the most often indications for laser epilation. Problem of ingrown hair in women is most often seen in area of dam, beneath knees, and chin, while in men in the neck area.

7. Lasers are not applied by an expert
Truth: Firstly, difference should be done between medical lasers and cosmetic preparations for permanent epilation. The biggest difference in medical laser favour is its proved efficency: it has to be handeled by a skin specialist, dermatologist.
On basis of skin type, density and thickness of hair, as well on expected reaction of skin after treatment, dermatologist decides for optimal laser parameters, which makes treatment as efficient and safe as possible.

8. Effects last only for 2 years
Truth: Reason for this predjudice probably lies in the fact that nowdays there are many devices available, which are limited by number of treatments. Effets of permanent epilation with 'Light Sheer' tricho laser last, as experience shows, minimum 6 years in more than 90% cases, and can last even longer. Experts claim effects can take more than ten years.

9. No guarantee- no results
Truth: 'Do you give guarantee?' is a question clients often ask. There is no guarantee for permanent epilation, as well as there is no guaranty for any other medical and cosmetic intervention or treatmant anywhere in the world.

10. It is better to choose epilation that costs less, even if there are more treatments needed
Truth: Honestly it is not easy to decide who to trust. Anyway, I think it is best to choose an expert that will know how to determine best treatment to achieve best results. Choose an expert that has already gained your trust or trust from people close to you.
