A good eyeliner that wont smudge??

I have an ongoing problem. Every eyeliner that I buy smudges. The last ones I used were maybelline, covergirl, and both were waterproof. They do not work for me! I do not have any idea what to look for! I like pencil eyeliners, not others… do you have any ideas? A good eyeliner that wont smudge??

Here is a trick that works on me!
Btw, I had the same problem as you do- and there was no waterproof eyeliner that would work on my eyes.
Ok, here it goes: I set my pencil eyeliner with eyeshadow- first I apply eyeliner – you can use any kind of eyeliner in this case… and after that go over with dark brown or black eyeshadow- best is to use loaded flat liner brush.

I used to use maybelline til they stopped making it but the closet ive come to finding a water proof eyeliner that gos on smooth and stays put the most is the new cover girl smoothers water proof eyeliners.
