Yes, it could!
Aloe vera is very beneficial for skin, and among other nurturing and healing effects for skin, it also reduces symptoms of psoriasis. Typical for aloe vera is to promote healing and itching of skin, also heals burns, etc. This healing effects rises to the point that aloe vera (lotion) may offer relief to someone who suffers from symptoms of psoriasis.
There was a study made, i read this on web, and i do not guarantee for its credibility. 60 people were in this study group and all had problems with chronic psoriasis. After applying aloe vera lotion to lesions three times a day for longer period of time, 83% *(!!!!!) of people in study group experienced substantial improvement. Group applying placebo did not experience such results.
So, yes, aloe vera lotion, gel or natural aloe vera's gel must help with all kinds of skin conditions, and also psoriasis. |
