Am I pregnant? I am feeling dizzy!

I have a problem. I think i am pregnent. I haven't done pregnancy test yet, anyway, would like to ask few questions first. Ok, i was on pills for the past 2 years, and i've gained 25 pounds in that period, which comes down to being overweight. what is enough, is enough. So, i stopped taking them, but am still in steady relationship... we had unprotected sex (withdrawal method) one week ago, which is according to online calculator my ovulation time. And now i am afraid i am pregnent. My boobs are sore (on the other hand, this is also typical when i am expecting period, which i do). And another sign is – dizziness! Every time i get up from chair or from bed in the morning, i feel like i am going to collapse. truly horrible feeling. So, all mothers and women expecting - you are actually the only ones who can help me! Am i pregnant??? I am feeling dizzy, but is this a sign of pregnency?

Actually dizziness is not a typical sign of early pregnancy, like morning sickness for example. So, i wouldn't panic Wink

Dizziness is more like a sign of (too) low blood pressure, so perhaps you could explore more in this direction. I wouldn't totally eliminate possibility you're pregnant, but i think your body is reacting to new routine- which is being off the pills.
I was also on pills and gained weight- so, i know what you mean! gaining weight is the main drawback of anti-baby pills. huh! i took me one year to return to my normal weight.
back to your problem- I truly think your body is reacting to coming off pills- when i stopped my period was one month late! Imagine that panic!!! My period came from 28 day cycle to more than 45-day cycle, so yes, the pills could be reason why your body is reacting the way it does.

I feel dizzy many times, and I agree it is due to low blood pressure. on the other hand, i also felt dizzy in first trimester when i was pregannt with my first boy. But it was not like feeling dizzy when i got up (like in your case), but i feelt dizzy while sitting down. The rooms were dancing around me! However, it was not just dizziness, it was morning sickness, dizziness, slightly elevated temperature, sore breast and many, many mood swings Wink

Why don''t you do a pregancy test? Some tests can be done as soon as few days after conception and as i understand it- you are ready for that.
