Hey guys!
I am sure someone brought up this question … anyway… so far I only found two mineral makeup brands= Aromaleigh VS. Bare Minerals. I have already tired Bare Minerals, which is btw more expensive, and makes my skin too shinny. Anyway, I was thinking about trying Aromaleigh. Is it more matte than Bare Minerals?

Hi Tricia!
I have tried both- Aromaleigh and Bare Minerals. I started with bare minerals, and didn’t like it at all  .. at first I thought it was because I was doing something wrong- oyu know, how mineral makeup should be applied in moderate amounts etc. I did all as i should , and still didn’t come out right … I agree- too shinny. This is because bare minerals is made of shiny mica and bismuth oxychloride, which supposedly make makeup shinny (I read that few days ago;) On the other hand Aromaleigh is made of matte mica and it does not contain bismuth, so yes- it is matte, and much better for my skin type, and doesn’t make my pores look like craters, which is not the case with Aromaleigh. In my case, Aromaleigh is better than Bare Minerals, and I really don’t understand why there is such fuss around BM.  |
