Yes, this is completely true!
For example bare escentuals makeup is based on our crushed bare minerals that occur naturally in the earth.
These bare minerals provide luminosity to the skin and a radiance that takes years off the face. Foundation for example comes in a collection of colors as well as any other foundation that is not consisted of bare minerals.
