Gold was already admited in Ming dynasty in chinese medicine.
It is proven gold intenses skin care, because it increases cell metabolism, microcell circulation, stimulates cell's regeneration, and increases the activity of cells. For example zenshen (wort of eternal life, which slows down the process of aging), hyaluronic acid which is also supposed to prevent aging since it is a natural skin moisturing factor.
