Friend bought me bylgari perfume Au Thé Rouge I think the perfume is not the newest in bylgari collection, but i think it is also not that old. I think it came out last year, or perhaps 2 years ago. This is not important...
I love bylgari perfumes, i love their tea scents- and sure, i also love this one. It is a tea scent with notes of pink pepper, red tea, figs, and walnut. And, yes it has something smokey, but sweet and woody. I don't sense fruits, although some descriptions claim it is a fruit tea scent. I don't think so. Bylgari Au Thé Rouge has something sweet and a bit smokey (perhaps tea scent), but i wouldn't define nothing fruity (i can't smell figes my friend says he can. But i do sense walnuts – they come out after the first impression, perhaps at drydown. Anyway, I love the perfume and recommend it! |

| I think red tea by bylgari is nice, but to be honest i am a bit dissapointed. It does not smell, what you;ve said, smokey enough. Not enough tea.. And it should be! Red tea they call it?? |

i agree- not what i expected. I prefer Bylgari Black. It has more darkness. Although some say it is just jasmin, it is so not true. It has more edge, even smells beautiful on my brother's wrist, but he won't wear it. He says it's for girls i think not. It has plenty smokey effect so men could wear it, although it is too sensual for man ...
I would say it is combination of old fashioned perfume and new waves. |

I have black too. Haven't tried red though.
I so agree on jasmine. I also though it was just jamsine at first, but actually it covers much larger specter of scents.
I think Bulagi could be worn very good on men: it's a nice warm and light cologne. Not too sweet, but still subtle sweet. Perhaps just a hint of vanilla. Also has enough smoke to be worn on men. Your brother should def try wearing it, and then decide whether yes or no. I think he would get some compliments |
