I am white, and my hair is very … huh! I can do miracles and nothing helps. If I iron it, than it’s ok, but my hair is very dry, and ironing it makes it even drier and it damages it. I was thinking about using curlaway. I know curlaway is supposed to be used African Americans, but my hair texture is very similar to their. Do you think curlaway would work on my hair?

Hey!
I am African American, and I use curlaway for the past few years. My hair is a mess without curlaway or without ironing it, and sure curlaway is better opt. I like it, vos it works fast- I wash, apply and that’s it. I prefer not to blowdry my hair, cos if I do, than it is even a bigger mess. So, I let it dry naturally (if you do the same, you just have to be careful your scalp doesn’t catch cold Smile
My hair is not totally straight, while when ironing is, but it is ok that way- I have still slightly curly hair, so it is not totally as they say, but at least it is more controllable with curlaway.
Hair is more silky and smooth, and what is important to me- it doesn’t contain harmful chemicals.
I think you should try it first, but I think curlaway is not made for African Americans- we are the ones with problematic hair, but as you say also among whites are those whose hair won’t listen. So, try it …
