Is anyone familiar with homemade dandruff remedies/shampoo?
Actually, I bought my self shampoo against dandruff, but it hasn’t improved my condition with dandruff. But if you have a suggestion for a shampoo that works against dandruff, please, go ahead… |

I use Head and Shoulders for dandruff , and it helps. I have very dry scalp- particularly in winter, and shampoo works fine with me.
My sister is not that lucky, and has darker hair, and dandruff is even more obvious on dark hair. She uses vinegar. First she wets hair, and then applies vinegar on scalp, rubs vinegar in, and wraps hair into towel. She waits not more than 15 minutes, and then she rinses. Afterwards she applies shampoo.
Works like charm for her.
On the other hand, you can always visit doctor, who can prescribe you remedy for dandruff – I think it is called Nizoral- it is available in pharmacies (over-the-counter), but the one on the prescription has stronger formula. |
