Hi!
I am, actually was using dermablend concealer (i have dark circles under eyes- i always had, it runs in my family. And now the happy news- I am 1 month pregnant Smile very, very happy for this! However, a college at work told me that i shouldn't be using dermablend concealer during pregnancy- supposedly it contains something that could cause irritation or i don't know what... I am not really sure what this substance is (neither is she- the one who told me)- i am not a chemist... i also am not sure whether i should believe her or not... i feel like what she told me is mumbo jumbo, but anyway i am not willing to take any chances.
If this is true- if dermablend concaler really contains some substances that shouldn't be used during pregnancy, what about other concealers- the same goes for them? What about foundations? Can they be used during pregnancy?

Why exactly dermablend concealer shouldn't be used during pregnancy? Because of some substance?
I don't think so... i am not a chemist either, but dermablend products are non-comedogenic, non-acnegenic, fragrance free, and sensitivity tested. What else can you expect of cosmetic product? I mean, if dermablend concealer shouldn't be used during pregnancy, then you shouldn't use any other concealer either.
Ask your college where she heard 'the breaking news'... or even better ask your doctor about this...

Congratulations!
Dermablend has a cream that is designed especially for pigment changes caused by pregnancy. I had problems with my skin on face (redness and dry skin), and this cream helped me deal with this problems.
I agree with previous post- i sincerely doubt that dermablend shouldn't be used during pregnancy...it is possible that dermablend concealer caused some sort of allergy or irritation in someone- woman's body, skin, almost everything changes during pregnancy, so what might had been good before pregnancy, may show to be irritating during pregnancy. But this could be just a lonely case. If it really causes allergy or irritation in pregnancy, that would be stated on package.
So, i think you're worrying too much- if this concealer works for you, continue using it, if not, then stop.
