| I have problems with itching legs. I have especially itchy legs after waxing, and nothing helps. Besides itching, my legs are very dry. I heard that desowen lotion is a medical lotion (my friend told me) and I would like to know if someone had similar or any kind of experience with desowen lotion. |

Desowen lotion is anti-inflammatory corticosteroid, and yes Desowen lotion reduces irritation and itching on the skin. Besides irritation and itching, Desowen lotion also treats skin conditions like contact dermatitis, atopic dermatitis, eczema, lichen planus, bug bites, burns, psoriasis, severe diaper rash, chronic discoid lupus erythematosus, alopecia areata, mycosis fungoides, dermatophyte, and fungus (yeast) infections etc.
However, if you have problems with allergy or fungal problems, you shouldn’t use it.
One more important thing- you should avoid applying Desowen lotion on areas, where the skin creases, in your case, when having problems with legs- on knees, since these areas may absorb more medication. You should shake Desowen lotion before applying. While Desowen lotion may help you with itching and irritation, it could also cause you additional problems, and most of all increase sensitivity of skin. I suggest you consult your doctor before starting using Desowen lotion. |
