Diannette

I have a problem considering in connection with diannette. I stated with diannette mostly because of anti-baby effects, but since I heard it helps with acne, I said why not. I must say diannette did help with my acne on face. I didn’t have really many acne, but only few is too much, agree?
Anyway, diannette do help with acne—big, big advantage.
I do not know if all pills help with that problem, since pills do influence hormone level, and hormone levels influences acne appearance, so pills (diannette) indirectly (through hormone levels) influence acne.
The problem is now, I broke up with my boyfriend, and I do not have steady sexual intercourses, actually I do not at all for the time. Should I continue taking diannette, or should I stop? I am afraid acne will return…

I think you should stop.
Why are you so afraid… you said yourself, acne wasn’t really your problem…and acne now and then…well, everyone has them, models, actress, … I never took anti-baby pills, so I cannot really comment diannette. The reason I never took them is I do not like taking pills. Even when I have painful periods, I try to avoid taking pain killers…
Some of my friends are pro pills, and say they have less painful periods, and they exactly know when they are going to get them… I really think it is better to let nature take its own course, and even if periods are late day or two, it is still nothing wrong with this… I truly believe each body has its own clock, and when egg is ready, it will come out >lol I think it is better to let your body decide whether few acne will broke out, or you’ll be late one day, than regulating your acne (and periods) chemically with diannette or any other pills…. Antway this is just my opinion, and as I said I am for pill free life! Maybe somebody else would comment this differently.
Perhaps it would be better to consult doctor whether you should continue taking diannette or not.

my sister takes Dianete pills... she's taking them to control her period, not because of anti-baby effects.

Hi, i have taken Diannette before for treatment of acne and it worked brilliantly, nothing had ever worked before so I was really pleased with this pill as I also used it for contraception. I took it for about 3-4 years. I had to come off it about a year ago because of other health issues. While been off the pill Diannette my acne has returned and I feel so ugly with acne so I am going back on Diannette soon.

i was on dianette too (because of acne) and it worked great for me too. Practically the same story as yours, Seven- when i got off- acne returned.
I went back to the doc and wanted to put me back on and she said it is not the best way to control acne Confused

that we will try with benzyl peroxide-topica lly... it hadn't worked so far. if something radical doesn't happen soon with my acne condition, i am going back for Dianette and if she still won't give them, i am switching docotr.

Hi taya, iv'e started to take my Diannette again so hopefully my skin will be sorted out soon. I was also given the benzyl peroxide stuff when i came off the pill, it worked a little bit but I still got spotty skin, what ever you do dont get that stuff in your eyes it stings like hell lol Rolling Eyes

. I really do hope it works for you though. Im sorry your doctor itsn't to helpful, you don't need to put up with that sort of thing I mean thats what they are there for to help you.
