Diore's Miss Dior is an old perfume, actually his first one, released (first time) in 1947 with a fragrance comeback in 1992.
Fragrance contains notes of gardenia, galbanum, clary sage, aldehydes, jasmine, rose, neroli, narcissus, iris, carnation, lily of the valley, patchouli, labdanum, oakmoss, ambergris, sandalwood, vetiver, and leather. One could say flowery perfume: it starts sharp flowery with gardenia, but them pleasenlty softens. There is also something woody and earty, something that makes flowery perfume not so sweet- it brings some freshness.
Now, to the subjective side of perfume: i don't like it, and i believe only a few of modern cosumers do. I think it should be called Grandma Dior and def not Miss Dior Wink it has way too much old fashioned, somehow spicy fragrance in it.

Is it that bad? I have tried most of his perfumes, but not this one. Diore's perfumes are known, at least i think,to have this spicy-floral-fresh conotation.

Grandma Dior??? Well, thank you!?? I am not grandma yet, but am approaching 40ties. And i love Miss Dior! I think it's elegant- you sure can't wear it with denim jacket, because it is not ment to be worn that way. It is more stylish and profound scent. I think perfect for women like me.
Lady, perhaps you could go easier in Miss Dior, and call it Mrs Dior, but not Grandma Smile
