Recently, i decided to try out euphoria perfume by Calvin Klein. I read in many (fashion) magazines women wear this euphoria perfume and everyone was talking only great stuff about it. So, i decided to try it. And here it is: my own euphoria perfume review.
First the bottle: interesting, could be more elegant. I like color and packaging though, It is easy to open/close- i hate when having problems with basic things, like clogging spray nozzle or somehting like that. This didn't happen with euphoria perfume, and i hope it won't.
And now the scent... hmm, to be honest, i was expecting more of it. Euphoria has notes of pomegranate, persimmon, lush green accord, dewy lotus blossom, champaca flower, black orchid, amber, black violet, something creamy and mahogany wood. First of all, i don't recognize all those scents, but to sum up- way too sweet for my taste. It is not sweet, sweet, it has fruits – but still too sweet. I think it is pomegranate that causes that sweetness, ripe pomegranate is sweet isn't it?
However, there is definitely scent that is too sweet, and there should be something balancing this sweetness.
Than fruits- pomegranate again.
Where is amber? Where is black violet?
I really miss freshness in euphoria. I don't know why, but i was expecting fresher perfume...besides, one would expect that models and celebreties, claiming euphoria is the one, would have more taste. Really sad!
So, for those who like warm, rich (?) sweet scent, you might really like Euphoria. I do not belong to the group, so i am sticking with Euphoria tester only. They will not get a dime from me |

I got Euphoria by my dad. He had good intentions, but me too- ain't the type. However, the perfume is not so bad. I mean, i can tolerate it in limited edition. One or two sprays. I do use it occasionally. Actually, i think it is a nice evening perfume. My sister loves it, so i kind of giave it too her. I mean, it is still in my room, but most of the time she uses it. She loves fruity perfumes, but not me. I am more on cleaner and fresher side.
I also sense just fruits, fruits, fruits. Not A from amber or B from black violet???
Btw, i am so glad i read your euphoria perfume review- it seems like everyone loove this perfume (my sis and her and MINE friends!).
I also read few euphoria reviews on some other sites, and was wondering if we were/ are wearing the same perfume. I mean, someone descibed this perfume as amber rich?>?? Amber rich?? No, no, no. Only fruit rich in my nose! |

Hi ladies!
I like euphoria, and love wearing it evenings. Esp romantic evenings. Dinner, candles, ... for clubbing i need more freshness.
Considering the scent- i can definitely smell more than fruits. Fruits dominate, i agree, but there are amber and woods. True, they come as under scnets, but they do bring something darkish and woody. On first sniff, it might be sweet and fruity, but on my skin, amber and woods also develop very nicely. I guess skin has a lot to do with perfume development... In my case Euphoria is very pleasant and blends well with my natural chemistry. |
