HI all!
I am 22 and yet have been noticing wrinkles around my eyes. I do not have very sensitive skin, also my skin is quite dry, so I started using baby oil to increase moisturizing. I read somewhere this helps in reducing eye wrinkles (and other wrinkles). Is baby oil and moisturizing a good idea or I should be doing something else? Do you have any other suggestions? |

You are doing correct thing, especially since you say your skin is dry. It is very important to moisturize skin. If oil turns up to be too aggressive (this is the case with some people- I get acne for example; besides baby oil is heavy, greasy substance that's more suitable for the hands and body than the face), there are also oil-free lotions and creams available over-the-counter (in addition they also contain sun screen- baby oil doesn’t). If planning to use moisturizers that contain alpha-hydroxy acids and retinol, which are actually very successful when dealing with (eye) wrinkles, they can also be irritating to the delicate skin around the eyes.
The biggest reason for wrinkles appearance is sun, smoking and genetic. If you are smoking, please, don’t let me waist my time. When being outdoors, apply sun protection at least 15 SPF. When coming down to genetics, there is little to be done. What nature says, it will be. Just protect yourself from sun and smoking, moisturize your dry skin a lot and most of the work considering wrinkles and eye wrinkle is done.
