I have a question about flat iron. I have naturally slightly curly hair- hate it, and want it straight.
Is flat iron hair damaging? (my mum repeatedly claims it is!)… it would be nice to professionally withstand her Smile
And, what flat iron do you recommend? Which one is the best?
I truly appreciate every answer!

Ammm… I think ceramic flat irons are the best. Now there is a variety of flat irons. I do not recommend buying the most expensive- most of the time those are expensive because of the marketing strategy, and do the same job as those of half the price. For example CHI flat iron – my friend lent me, and it is truly no different than mine- BaByliss professional- she paid for CHI $170, and I paid for mine 80$!!!!
I think it makes no difference- any flat iron, ceramic or any other, you buy, just make sure it has some guarantee…
About persuading mum… cannot do it! Your mum is right. Flat irons do dry hair- they work on principle of heat- and yes, they do damage hair if regularly used, and yes, they do cause split ends.
