| I bought my self ceramic flat iron for $30..i know I should perhaps invest a bit more, this one will do for a start. I have coarse hair, but the problem is that even after washing, blow drying and ironing they are still coarse, and not soft at all. I use some softening serums (and shampoo and conditioner of course), but hair is still coarse, straighter, but still coarse. Getting is straight is really a challenge – so since I flat ironing amateur, I need some specifics on flat ironing. What is the best way to use it? |

Do you blow dry your hair all the way?
I don’t – if I do, then my hair looks totally coarse. I just quickly go through hair with minimum heat so it doesn’t look totally wet, and then procede with flattening iron, which dries it all the way. This works much better for me… perhaps you should try it.
Maybe is due to the quality of your flat iron…you haven’t really spend much, it is low quality for $30, so there is really not much to expect? |
