It works on pretty much same principle, yes. It works in 10 minutes, some less, some more. Effective- the same again- I personally do not notice the difference. If I shave them, the second or third day I must repeat. If I do it with hair removal lotion or hair removal cream effect is little bit longer (though more expensive) for few more days, and if I remove hair with wax or epilator (mashine that works on the same principle as waxing- pulls your hair with root) the effect is most durable, so I prefer later.
Bad thing with waxing is your skin tends to dry and itch when hair grows (this doesn’t happen when I shave them!), but I like cos it lasts long. And yes- pain- it hurts when you pull your hair anyway, I got used to it.
With hair removal lotion or cream my skin tends to be softer and more moisturized. This is the biggest advantage of hair removal lotions or creams- they moisturize skin. |
