Hi Biba!
Yeas, that is true. Highblood is in connection with kidney- your kidney namely play an important role in keeping your blood pressure in a healthy range. And the other way around- if having highblood pressure, this can affect the health of your kidney, so if having highblood pressure it can damage your kidney, and consuming salt can contribute to damaging kidney. The kidneys are responsible for regulating sodium (salt) levels in the blood. Thus- limit your daily salt intake to 2,000 milligrams or lower if you already have high blood pressure.
I hope this helps.
