I am doing my first home hair coloring. I bough Garnier ; honey blond (I am light brunette, but my hair lights in summer time, and I had practically blond hair when I was teenager). I am 22, and my hair has completely changed its color. I want to color my hair now, cos I think brighter hair suits my skin better. I have a question about home hair colouring- how is best to apply hair color- by combing hair?? Or how? How long should I leave it on?

Hi!
Maybe you could get someone else to do it for you!
Although, I do it easily by myself.
First prepare everything as described. You’ll find a pair of gloves in a box, put them on. I do not apply with comb but with my fingers. I squeeze some color on my palm and then rub it in my hair and scalp. I repeat this as long as I don’t empty a bottle. Rub into hair, don’t forget the sides and hair at your neck. I apply as I was shampooing …it is really simple, and I also use Garnier. DO NOT FORGET TO PUT THE GLOWES ON!
As soon as you are done, rub off color remains of your skin- it is best to do it with makeup remover, it works just fine. (do not forget the neck area- this happened to me once Smile cos I didn’t see it…I do not forget since Smile
About leaving on… I think it says it is best to leave 30 minutes. I think it is always better to wash off 5 minutes sooner than later…
So, wash off! Take time, wash off really good, so the water is totally clean, and then apply that perfect conditioner. It will make your hair perfectly smooth! I wish I could buy those conditioners separately! They are great- make hair so silky!
Hope this helps! Let me know how it went! And if you satisfied with the color!
