| How soon can a pregancy test be done? i am afraid i am pregnent, cos i missed my menstruation. usually it is right on time or one day late, but now i am waiting for more than 7 days. I also have slight fever – 37 C. is this perhaps a sign of an early pregnency. I am in steady realationship, but still not thinking about having a baby. Thus, how soon can a pregancy test be done? |

Some test can be done within few days after conceiving a baby. I if you're 7 days late, it is probably you're around 14 days from last ovulation, which is also best time to conceive. 14 days is more than long enough to make home pregnency test.
I am not sure whether increased temperature is a sign of pregnency. Missed menstruation certanly is; then vomiting, tender, swollen breasts, fatigue
Good luck! |

Hi!
Actually basal body temperature stays high during pregancy and could be a sign of pregnency. Anyway, it is best to do pregnancy test- at least to be sure.
I sometimes have higher temp (from 36,9 to 32,3) if i am waiting for my period. Unlike yours, my menstruation comes always to soon or more likely to late... i can never tell when it's going to come... it does not come so much as a surprise, but it definitely has too long preparation time. |
