Through out the history, women love wearing gold. From ancient Egypt to modern New York gold doesn’t fail to mesmerize people. Gold is one of the softer metals which can work in any shape easily; one can witness gold in various form of jewelry from earrings to necklaces and other such ornaments.
Properly polished gold holds its luster for longer period; this is the probable reason why it’s always highly prized.
Some of the basic instruction to take good care of gold jewelry:
i) Use mild detergent & a soft brush or even old brush will do, dip the brush in detergent & gently scrub the jewelry. Pay attention to the small crack and crevices. Rinse it well and dry it well with soft cloth. But see to it that jewelry isn’t scratched during polishing.
ii) Use one part ammonia & six part of water prepare a solution; use this solution to soak your jewelry for at least 1 – 2 minutes this makes easier to brush away any grime on the jewelry. |
