Hey gurls, I have read about some natural acne scars treatment, thus I want to share it with you.
Mild acne scars can be treated effectively with natural acne scar treatment. Try the following tips to get rid of acne scars the natural way.
1. Sandalwood is very effective in treating acne scars. Mix it with some rosewater and apply it to the scars. Leave it on overnight and wash it off in the morning.
2. Rub ice cubes on the face to tighten the pores.
3. Cut a tomato in half and rub it on your skin.
4. Use cucumber juice as a toner.
5. Raw garlic is a very effective acne blemish treatment.
6. Take turmeric internally or make it into a paste and apply it to the skin.
7. Sage and Aloe Vera have healing properties. Apply Aloe Vera directly to the skin. Seep sage in hot water, cool and then apply.
8. Apple cider vinegar is good for clearing up spots. Use in place of a toner. |

Prepare a mixture of honey with lemon, almond oil and milk and apply on the affected area. This will help you to get rid of acne scars.
You can also use Vitamin E oil, which is known to improve skin conditions. Buy Vitamin E capsules from any drug store in your local area. Break up the capsule, and use the oil inside the capsule to rub onto the acne scars, you can then swallow the rest of the capsule. This method is excellent, and is almost guaranteed to get rid of acne scars.
Essential oils can be very effective home remedies for acne and for the scarring that may occur afterwards. These essential oils contain antibacterial properties that can help to fight infection that sometimes accompanies acne breakouts. Some good essential oils to try include rosehip and lavender. Dilute essential oils before applying to your skin to prevent burning. |

Get Dermabrasion. This is not to be confused with micro-dermabrasion which removes the very top layer of dead surface skin cells from the face. Dermabrasion is a coarser method, which removes further layers. Almost as if you were to rub sandpaper on your face (which you shouldn't!) But the sandpaper imagery is the general idea of what this process entails. The dermatologist will numb your face first and then begin removing layers through the "sanding" process. Recovery time is usually a couple weeks. Your skin will eventually scab. Once the scabs fall of, new skin will emerge with a fresh youthful glow. This works best on patients with very light or very dark skin. Patients in between might want to look for another procedure.
#
Step 2
Try Laser Resurfacing. This is another way to clear away pimples and finally get rid of acne scars. This is a fairly new procedure and it should be noted that not a lot of trials have been done on its long term effects. The process entails a laser being used to eradicate acne scarring. As of now the two lasers in use are the CO2 laser and the YAG laser. Both accomplish similar things and your doctor may have a preference over which they like to use. But remember to learn about each and ultimately the choice is up to you. The laser works in a similar fashion as dermabrasion. It removes the top layers of the skin which has been damaged so that new healthy skin can grow. Recovery time is a couple of weeks. Your doctor may have you apply a topical ointment as well to help with the recovery process. Depending on the depth of acne scarring, sometimes bandages are necessary as well.
#
Step 3
Have a chemical peel performed. This is a good treatment for very light acne scarring. Different types of acid are applied to the top layer of the skin. The acid is then removed about 15 minutes later. Again this will remove the top damaged layers of the epidermis. Redness and swelling is common after the procedure. Depending on the amount of acid applied, recovery time can take from a day to a couple of weeks.
#
Step 4
Receive the Punch Technique. This is meant for people with deep pitted acne scars. Much like a hair transplant, a piece of scarred skin is
"punched" then removed. Then skin graft is taken, usually from behind the ear, and placed where the scarred skin was removed. After this treatment is complete it can also be combined with Laser Resurfacing or Dermabrasion. If the area on the skin is small enough, a graft may not be needed to replace it. Also, if the scarring is not deep into the skin, your dermatologist may be able to simply punch away the top layers of the skin and let the underlying layers heal and emerge. Recovery time can take several weeks or longer.
#
Step 5
Consider Augmentation. This is a process by which your dermatologist injects fillers, usually collagen, under the skin to help smooth the acne scarred area. Also the doctor may take fat from other places in your body and inject that instead of collagen. Recovery time is short, a day at most, as it's just like receiving any other shot. People often return to work right away. It should be noted that this is a temporary fix at the moment, lasting about six months. However, in the future as different "fillers" are discovered, it may last longer.

Application of olive oil on acne scars. Wash your face with lukewarm water. Dry it with clean towel. And by drying your facial skin, apply the olive oil over all the acne scars and massage. Carry on massage for five minutes at least with your gentle hand.
It’d better, if you do it two to three times a day. Do not wash your face up to two hours at least. Just after applying olive oil for fading acne scars, you should wash your face with glycerin face wash, avoiding caustic face wash or soap. |

| I am allergic to garlic, so, just wanted to know if i should try it because i have not heard about it anywhere else. With the tips that i am already using, i have seen quite an improvement, although most have been written here but the ones that are most basic have been left out like you should not touch them, keep them moisturized and refrain from going to sun as much as possible and if you have to, wear sunscreen with SPF that suits you the best. |

| Acne scar treatments require that a person's skin is free of active acne, so if you still break out you will have to address that first. Read through the Regimen for advice on what to do to get your skin clear. Once it is clear, you can decide whether an acne scar treatment is right for you. Opinions are mixed on the efficacy of these treatments however. |

Acne scars can be more of a problem than acne because it takes a long time for them to go away. In fact, some of them stay forever on your skin. It's best to see a doctor if your face has too many acne scars. If the scars aren't big or deep however, consider treating the scars in your home using natural treatments. Here are some home remedies for acne scars that should restore the glow of your skin:
* Drink lots of water: Water has amazing cleansing and rejuvenating properties. Some experts believe that the best way to treat acne scars naturally is to drink lots of water. Dead skin cells are shed off easier when your body is hydrated with enough water. New skin also grows faster and smoother when you have lots of water in your body.
