Hi,
I need your advice! Urgent!
My crazy sister spritzed perfume on the leather jacket i lent her. Of course she didn't know it would leave stains on... jacket was expensive, and i specifically told her not to mess up.
The spot is on visible place. Is there any chance of removing perfume spot from my leather jacket?? PLS HELP!!! I am desperate! |

if there is any perfume left, remove first the excess.
Then, mix solution of mild soap with lukewarm water to create volume of suds, and then apply foam on spot with a sponge. Wipe off foam with dry cloth.
If oily stain remain (which usually does), powder the stain with with an absorbent, such as cornmeal., and give plenty time to work. Then gently brush off.
If the stain is still there- repeat until is gone. It is very possible you'll have to repeat the procedure several times. Do not desperate, it will come off, just have to be persistent.
When stain is gone, it is best if you condition your jacket with tannery vintage leather cleaner. Some use the most ordinary face creams. It also works. |
