| I use Dove soap. My skin gets dry sometimes after using it. I wonder why is that? Could it be because ph balance? Is Dove soap ph balanced? |

Dove is considered as mild soap, and soaps classified as mild are ph balanced, but shouldn’t be used on face, just body!
You should apply lotion after showering. It may happen that even water dries out skin! So, moisturize it! |

| I went to a lot of trouble to answer the question re: Dove soap. Stop using Dove. Find a good hand made soap. They are all over the internet. Better yet: Find a good recipe and make your own. Try Pine Medadows web site. |

| Remember doing a project for chem lab about checking ph levels of various things. Best I can remember it is balanced. |

| actually I have heard some very good reviews about Dove Deep Moisture body wash, it's not as harsh as their bar soaps and has nutrium in it which is very good. Making your own products can be time consuming and not always that effective. |
