My son has problems with acne. I read in women's magazine that salty water is good for acne, which means he should wash his face with this water. Is this true- is salt good for acne?

I am not really sure, but i think salt might dry his skin or irritate it.
I think it's best if he uses some mild acne product that contains salicylic acid - products like that are appropriate for mild acne- or benzoyl peroxide (for more severe cases). But if his case is more serious, I think it's best if he visits dermatologist – i think that would be best in either case- mild or severe acne- it's always best to get doctor's perspective. It's possible doctor would prescribe him a medicine. |

| Salty water dries out skin, which may be good at the very beginning, but this is not the right way to treat acne. |
