I have short hair and (ear length, but uneven cut) medium brown hair- when I am on sun ‘long enough’ I get some blond highlights. I used to dye my hair blond, but them I decided to have highlight done, because I wanted my hair to look like in summer- more natural…I like my summer look.
And I did it… I got foil highlights done for the first time. I spend 2 and a half hours sitting there, and when she got them removed…ohhh… it somehow wans’t what I expected- it didn’t get to my roots, and I don’t like it. It is some blond some light brown like I wanted the color, but the roots …ohhhhhhh…they are still there??!!! There is a clear line from foil- I can see it! Is this how Foil highlights are supposed to look? Or she did something wrong? |

Oh, I am sorry, but I think your hairdresser didn’t put the foil on good.
I have both highlights type done- foil and a cap,.and foil one looks much better, the roots shouldn’t be visible- they are definitelly more visible with a cap. It sounds like she didn’t place the foil good and they slid down a bit.
I think you should go back, and explain what happened and that you aren’t satisfied. I know this complaining about certain services is unpleasant for you and the oe providing service, but this is just the way it is- you pay for something, and you want to get this certain something done as you want to- I think you deserve a refund or redoing highlights. |
