Jessica Simpson’s daily workout routine consists of 6 days a week, two hours a day sessions. Those sessions include 30 minutes of cardio workout which includes running, fast walking and also 45 minutes of strength training consisting of lunges, squats and squat jumps (the so-called but builders). She does some weight lifting but she uses not so heavy weights (7 1/2 pound dumbbells). In order not to cheat in her workout and diet she hired a personal trainer, Mike Alexander, who makes sure she eats well and exercises well. Jessica Simpson considers her diet to be the most important part of her workout routine. She tried many diets, including Atkins, the Zone and many more. One that she’s currently on is the Five Factor Diet. In her diet she includes some parts of the Zone diet. Her every day meals look something like this, for breakfast she has scrambled eggs with wheat toast and a bowl of Special K cereal, for lunch she has grilled chicken or fish and a salad and for drink she has a sugar-free Red Bull, if she wants a snack she takes a Zone Perfect Chocolate Almond Raisin bar, and for dinner she has a small steak with green veggies. Because this diet allows her to have five cheat days in five weeks on a cheat day she usually has a banana and peanut butter. To maintain her figure she got rid of all sugar and eats mostly salads.
Although many celebrities have not only a personal trainer but a personal gym I think that if you get a membership card in a gym that offers also advice form a professional trainer you can get the same result as Jessica Simpson. Also you need to reorganize your eating habits and for that you can go to a nutritionist and ask him what type of dieting will fit you best. |
