Hello everyone!
I have few questions about laser hair removal?
I am not sure whether these are myths, or half truths, so I am posting this:
1. is laser hair removal painless?
2. does laser hair removal ‘creates’ permanent reduction of hair? Does hair grow back after laser hair removal? |

Well, about the pain…is like that… many clients tolerate laser very well- without any pain or the need to use pain relief. But it is not possible to promise that laser hair removal treatment will be painless for all. There is just no guarantee, since pain tolerance varies in people.
About permanent hair removal… there is again no 100% guarantee! (if you think, there is no 100% guarantee for any kind of procedure/ treatment, medical or beauty…) Some clients experience permanent reduction over few treatments and have hair permanently removed for period of more than 10 years. Some more, and some patients, like people with lighter skin tone and darker hair, are even not propriate clients for laser hair removal, because laser will not work as expected on them. And there is also no published clinical data that hair will not grow back.
I hope I didn’t disappoint you! |

I've had two of the 8 suggested laser hair removal treatments. I don't think it is painful. It feels like the slightest sting, but nothing compared to waxing.
If you are going to get it make sure they use a good laser, not an IPL.

Hey Jessica!
I guess some redness is normal, I hope you feel better already...
i am also thinking about having hair above upper lip and some on the chin removed.
I have one question: you had it done on bikini area, upper lip, underarms- how much did this all cost? |

It was $3,000. This includes 8 session, plus 4 more if needed. and a lifetime of $1 zaps if neeeded.
The place I went is on the expensive side, but the well trained techs are worth it for me.
If your considering it go to several (at least 3) places to get a consultation. Go to at least one private Doctor. AND do your research.
I give details on prices in my first journal entry:
