| My Husband bought me perfume that I don’t like. What should I do now? I wore it the first night he bought it, and I thought I am going to like it, it is going to start to smell better, but no, this perfume does not suit me. It is too sweet or sour, I really cannot define it. So, what do I do now? Do I tell him not to buy me perfumes or should I shut up and pretend I like it? What would you do? |

I definitely wouldn’t pretend I love the perfume. It would be logical then to wear it, and this exact perfume could be the next gift (safe one, because you said you like it!).
So, do you wanna the same perfume next year? I believe not… I think it is always better to be honest. You don’t have to be rude or anything like this, it is also not your husband fault. (Perfumes always act different when applied on skin- it is the chemistry that makes it different.) My husband is very sensitive and if I would say directly to his face- darling you do not know nothing about perfumes, so do me a favor and do not go shopping for perfumes without me, I would definitely offend him. |

| To be honest- perfumes are never good option for a gift (except if you know what perfume person wants); otherwise it is really hard to guess what someone would love (even if that is the closest person in the world like wife or husband). As you mentioned, every perfume smells different on two different persons, so it is really tricky to choose just the right perfume. I buy perfumes as a gift ONLY if I know what perfume someone likes. |
