I have a question about naval piercing. I got it pierced 4 years ago, and after few months I realized my body is rejecting naval piercing, so I got it out. 2 years later I got it re-pierced. It is ok now- no rejection, no infection, everything is cool.
I would just like to know about hole closure. I am 34 now- will my naval piercing hole heal sooner now, when I am 34, and is it possible even not close if I take my piercing out when I am let’s say 50? |

| I think it should close. I don’t see why it wouldn’t. just keep quality titanium or platinum jewelry inside and everything will be ok. Avoid wearing cheap jewelry, as it may cause scarring and discoloration- such problems occur because of pressure, friction, but also from chemical reaction from nickel, steel- for example corrosion. |
