I have a problem and I would appreciate every advice!
I am very pale, and have dark hair. It is not that I am very hairy or something, it is just that dark hair is so obvious on pale skin. For example, when I shave, my hair follicles are visible right after. It looks horrible! I thought that darker skin would make it less obvious, so, yes, I have tried self tanners, but I actually think it makes situation even worse!
Please help me! No matter what I do, you can see the hair follicles on my legs, and I do not know what to do!

You shave your legs, right?
What about waxing? Or some other product that pulls hair out, like Epilady (I think it is Braun, but also other companies have similar products).
I am very epilator pro- have been using it for 3 years now. It is truly a difference after shaving or after using epilator. In my case after shaving legs are smooth, and if I haven’t been shaving before, the effects will last even up to 3 days! But hey, what is 3 days??? Of course, if I shave regularly (and not using epilator), I have to shave every single day. Especially in the bikini zone… so, yes, I understand you, I guess my bikini zone is similar to your pale skin on legs situation- hair is just more obvious there.
For that reason, I use epilator also on bikini zone- as I said the lasting effect is amazing and you can forget about shaving after trying this.
But, there are also drawbacks… it is painful. Not like a pain, where you have to take a pill, but a constant pulling hair, like stitching… definitely not pleasurable. The first time is definitely the worst- you don-t know what to expect, in what spots hurts most (knee area Smile ) etc.
Waxing or epilation- it works on same principal- pulls your hair out with a root- this is the reason hair takes to grow back at least 14 days. Besides, not all hair grow back that quickly- some before (cos you didn’t actually pluck them but you have cut them) and some later. The difference is in approach- waxing can be also done in saloon- maybe it would be easier for you to get a saloon wax, where someone else will pull those strips. With epilation the situation takes a bit longer- you actually have to hold the mashine and pull those hair somewhat slowlier… it works both ways.
With waxing (am not sure for eplilation), you also get a good exfoliation treatment- waxing besides hair removes also dead cells, and leaves skin totally smooth…
If you haven’t tried either method, don’t be afraid of the pain… it is not that painful, but comparing to shaving and its effects, it is definitely worth doing it!
