I am 31 weeks pregnant, with no complications so far.
Buy for the past 2 weeks of my pregnency i've been having this problem with numb fingers. My symptoms are numb fingers (i am dropping things), slightly swollen hands and fingers (i barely removed my wedding ring yesterday). Are numb fingers in connection with pregnency?> |

Yes, i am almost 100% certain this pregnancy causes numb fingers and some other problems that you have.
if you're drinking coffee or anything like that-quit. It is all detaining water in your body, and causes your fingers and hands to swell. I assume this is also in connection with numb fingers. Check it out with your doctor. |

| I also have this problem. I mean my fingers are numb, but as soon as start moving them around, it’s better. I didn't perceive this as a problem. i though it was due to position i am sleeping as this numbness in fingers always happens in the morning. Maybe i ought to check this with my doc too. |

I was similar with me, but it happened at night and stiffness and numb fingers woke me up several times. I was quite painful, especially in any activity that involved grip. I went to doctor and was diagnosed with carpal tunnel.
Docotr suggested i should wear wrist support while sleeping. It got a little bit better, but the pain was still present, just in smaller doses.
Everything got back to normal after delivery. |
