Yes, tea tree oil is good treatment for acne, but use it diluted. It is used externally-it is toxic if ingested even in moderate doses.
Tea tree essential oil has both cosmetic and medical benefits; tea tree oil is beneficial in following areas:
-skin conditions (against acne, dermatophytes, against bug bites, boils, wounds, psorasis)
-hair care (against dandruff)
-helps with infections like measles, chicken pox, flu, cold, …
-athlete foot,
-vaginitis, yeast infections
However, before using, make a patch test to se if you’re allergic (high concentration causes skin irritation). It is best if it’s used in creams, lotions or soap forms. |
