Hello!
Need advice on hair color! I changed my hair color from light brown to blonde. This is btw very ungrateful combination- roots are very easily visible, so I have to maintain color… Blond also tends to get brassy- any advice on this?
Do you have any tips for getting color to stay longer? |

To make your hair color last longer, do not rub your hair with towel after washing, but gently pat. It is also cool if you let your hair naturally air dry… if this is a problem and oyu have to use blow-drier, just do not put it too closely to hair in order not to expose it to high heat (this also protects your hair and their color).
You should use only products designed especially for colored hair- this will prevent your blond color to turn brassy. Pantene has a good product for this problem- Pantene Pro-V Blonde Expressions Highlight Enhancing Shampoo and Conditioner- the product is designed to enhance blonde tones and to protect against damaging elements like mineral deposits and dulling residues.
ok, i know this sound pantene-pro, but i do use it, and love their products! |

Try deep conditioning once a week (massage in from root to tip and leave on 30 minutes so it deeply penetrates). Thsi will help you hydrate your hair and this way keep your hair hydrated, shiny and healthy and of course more color lasting |

hey,
perhaps this methods could help- but i think there is an exparation date to every hair color, simply eventually roots show and the glare is gone, so it simply has to be colored again in 2 or 3 weeks... or whenever. although as you say your new combination is very grateful for uncolored roots. Wise choice |
