Basically, all foundations are bad for acne-prone skin, because they all clog pores, which is one among reasons, that cause acne.
Also, do not trust makeup, and foundations, that claim they are anti-bacterial (thus anti- acne) because there is no such term, at least not on the FDA list, so term anti-bacterial (on foundations, soaps, shampoos, …) is actually just a marketing trick that attracts people on buying that stuff.
For acne-prone skin it is best not to use foundation, because if you want to get rid of acne, it is important to let your skin breathe, and not to cover it with anything… Still, there is a solution…
Mineral makeup- mineral foundation- best option among makeup for acne-prone skin. What is most important, it will not clog your pores, and will not cause any allergies (except if you are allergic to some of the minerals). When applying mineral foundation, be careful not to over apply it, because a little goes a long way.
Another option for covering acne would be self tanner- acne are namely much less visible on darker skin.
...hope this will work...
