Acne neonatorum are also known as baby acne, so the expresion says it self- babay acne usually form on baby´s face; mostly when baby is 3 or 4 months old and they lats aproximatelly 5 weeks and do not leave longlasting consequences. Though, it is possibel that babies who experience acne have problems with acne in their teenage years, though not necessary.
Some studies proved that baby acne form becasue of the maternal hormones that continue to circulate in the baby´s bloodstream after birth and sa that they stimulate the sebaceous glands.
You already visited doctor- I suppose. I am sure pediatrist gave you some form of mild cleanser. Now, you have to clean his face with it and after few weeks, his little face will be clean again.
