Actually is like that- this is one ingredient, not two: Argireline is acetyl hexapeptide-3.
You got it right- it is a new ingredient in anti-aging products, mostly creams. It is applied topically and has similar effects to botox injections (hypotetically spoken--- cream and injection are not to be compared, you have to be aware botox is much more effective, but also cannot be injcted into every part of the face, while crems, containing acetyl hexapeptide -3 may.
Important feature of argireline is relaxing facial tension, which consequently leads to less lines and wrinkles.
Researchers see this process like that> argireline inhibitsthe release of neurotransmitters released by the brain that tell these facial muscles to tense. The result is relaxed musculature and reduced wrinkles and lines. |
