Big body cleaning

Celery

Most often celery is used as a spice. It contains essential and fatty oils, aleurone and tannin. Celery fruits and its essential oils represent beneficial diuretic. Therefore celery, rich in minerals and vitamins, is recommendable for people who have kidney problems.

Sting nettle     


In traditional medicine different parts of sting nettle are used: top young leaves, bigger and lower leaves and roots. Most appreciated are young sting nettle leaves, because they contain lots of tannin, salts and clorophyll, vinegar and dandelion acids, carotene, vitamin C and K.
Tea made of sting nettle (either roots or leaves), is used when treating diarrhea, hemorrhoids, when preventing internal or outer bleeding, to ‘clean blood’ or to promote hair growth.
Despite the fact sting nettle is very healthy, it is also very rarely found on someone’s menu: it can be used as spinach or chopped with eggs in an omelet.
 
Dandelion
Dandelion is herb often use to improve someone’s appetite. Dandelion is also beneficial for digestive organs. Therefore its diuretic and laxative features play an important role in body cleansing.
It is best to eat salad made of dandelion, and it is best to eat it in the afternoon hours. Dandelion root and stalk contain bitter substance called taraskin, which can cause diarrhea or imbalance in heart beat if eating in larger amounts. Young leaves are harmless. However, if you are on any medications, consult your doctor about dandelion treatment.
   
Ginger
Ginger has been used as food for centuries, although ginger is very beneficial as a medicine: it namely reduces sickness, stomach pain, bleeding, and rheumatic problems. One of most important ginger’s ingredients is yellow pigment, called curcumin is found in intestine, where as proved, protects from polyps and probably also from intestine cancer.       
Active substances in ginger are efficient in cleaning body and throwing harmful materials from organism.  

Pumpkin
Pumpkins are appreciated as healing herb since ever. Its yellowish or orange meat contains many beneficial substances, such as proteins, carbohydrates and fats, plenty vitamins (A, C, B1, B2, B3, B6 and niacin), folic acid, as well as other mineral ingredients (potassium, phosphor, calcium, iron). Energetic value of pumpkin is surprisingly not as high as expected: 100 g pumpkin contains 30 calories (126 kJ). Pumpkin is not just great diuretic, but also efficient ‘eliminator’ of all body toxins. 

Wild strawberry
Wild strawberry has best aroma of all wild fruits. In traditional medicine wild strawberries are often used. Actually they have higher amount of minerals and vitamins than strawberries we grow in our garden.
Besides wild strawberry fruit, wild strawberry leaves are often applied. Wild strawberry leaves are rich in vitamin C and are used as delicious replacement for Russian tea.  
Boil wild strawberry leaves and roots and you will make liquid that purifies blood, stimulates all organs and especially kidneys, and most of all relaxes.
