Depression increases baldness

Give your hair minerals and vitamins!

1. Biotin

Biotin is found in fish, diary products, grains and eggs. It protects hair’s root and prevents hair loss. Biotin also influences hair graying.
If you for breakfast eat barley, oat, wheat or buckwheat as flakes in milk, and if you add to this integral bread, your daily need for biotin is more or less satisfied.

2. Vitamin A 

Great source of vitamin A are green and yellow vegetables, and diary products.
Do not over exaggerate with vitamin A, because increased and prolonged intake of vitamin A can cause falling off hair.
It is also known that organism that suffers from lack of vitamin A cannot regularly synthesize protein structures, this is the reason hair is too soft and brittle, and may remind of feathers. Vitamin A is crucial for hair growth.

3. Vitamin C

Vitamin C is found in cabbage, peppers, lemon, lettuce, oranges, and parsley. Vitamin is important for hair because it enables better circulation around hair roots, so the substances reach hair easier.

4. Amino acids: cystine and metoinine   

The newest research show that besides vitamins and minerals some other materials, like amino acids, can be of big help, particularly when dealing with baldness. Cystine and metoinine strengthen roots, and improve growth and hair quality. Cystine is important for keratin synthesis- protein found in skin, hair and nails. Keratin plays an important role in energy metabolism and synthesis of fatty acids. Metoinine is important for healthy hair, nails, skin, and taurine, lecitine, and endorfine synthesis. For that reason, eat soya, because it contains proteins, which prevent creating dihydrotestosterone- hormone responsible for development of baldness.

5. Sulfur

100 g hair ‘need’ approximately 5 mg sulfur. Lack of sulfur in nutrition influences hair poorly. Thus, eat all kind of onions, because they are rich in sulfur.   

Pills, teas, lotions, holly water?

Alopecia is medical term, which characterizes partial or total hair loss. There are several causes of baldness, which can also be combined. There are many types of baldness: hormonal, hereditary, hear loss because of age or because of some illness.
It is considered that more than 98% of all women suffering from alopecia suffer from so called ‘man baldness’.
But before you reach for cure your neighbor recommended, learn about hair loss causes. The worst option (less for hair, more for mental health) is falling into trap of quick fire preparation changing, and trying out every traditional and herbal cure you’ve heard of. Learn your causes first!

Nettle against hair loss 

Nettle (Urtica dioica) is one of traditional cures, used for ages in treating hair loss. From nettle tea can or alcohol extract in few variations can be prepared. You can use nettle leaves or roots, and in combination with other herbs. Nettle is a good medicine against dandruff, and very beneficial for hair growth stimulation and traditional cure against hair loss.

  • Recipe
Ingredients:
100 g fresh leaves nettle,
100 g hedge,
100 g nasturtium
½ l alcohol

Put leaves in glass jar, and cover with alcohol. Cover jar with gauze, so the alcohol evaporates. Leave mixture stand by approximately 2 to 3 weeks, but shake once every day. Afterwards filtrate mixture.
Lotion is applied with circular moves on scalp. After one hour after massaging into scalp lotion, rinse your hair with warm water. Treatment should last for 3 weeks. 

  • Recipe
Ingredients:
100 g nettle leaves
25 g chamomile
200 g vinegar

Cook nettle leaves in ½ liter distillated water for 20 minutes. Remove from fire, add chamomile, cover and wait for 8 hours. Afterwards, filtrate and add vinegar.
Massage this lotion into hair roots every evening.
Because of this treatment, hair can become brittle. To avoid brittle hair, apply burdock oil after every treatment.

  • Recipe
Ingredients:
One first nettle leaves
One fist nettle roots
One first burdock roots
100 g alcohol

Nettle and burdock roots must be chopped smail.
Cook in 1 liter water for 30 minutes. If you want this lotion to last longer, add alcohol, which has a role of preservative.

Garlic against hair loss 

To protect hair with garlic, you need to prepare two things: herbal mixture and tea for rinsing. (All ingredients can be found in pharmacy.)

  • Herbal mixture
Ingredients: 
1 spoon honey
1 spoon aloe vera juice
1 spoon garlic juice

Mix well. This herbal mixture can be kept in refrigerator, but before applying on hair, add one fresh yolk.

  • Herbal tea for rinsing
Ingredients:
1 spoon horsetail
1 spoon chamomile
1 spoon nettle

Cover herbs with 1 liter water and cook for 30 minutes. This herbal tea for rinsing can be kept in refrigerator, but not more than 2-3 days.
If you do not have horsetail, you can use just chamomile and nettle, but keep in mind you need 3 spoons of herbs on one liter of water.

Herbal mixture should be applied with gentle moves, without massaging mixture into scalp. Apply mixture by combing hair on partings. Wrap your hair into towel, and put over plastic bag. Keep this way for 20 minutes, and then wash off with neutral shampoo.
You can apply on hair one yolk, and then rinse well, or just end treatment with herbal tea for rinsing.

Onion against hair loss 

In traditional medicine onion is considered to treat many problems and diseases, and is often used against hair loss, dandruff and against some skin diseases.
Traditional medicine claims onion juice, mixed with honey is great for massaging scalp, and tea, made of onion peels, is great for hair rinsing.

Lessen your concern! Hair falls off naturally!     
 
Natural way of hair regeneration includes hair falling off on daily basis. So, if you have noticed your hair falling off, there is no reason for concern yet! Usual number of hair falling from head is 35 every day- this number of course varies, and depends on many factors, like time of the year, stress, sex, hormones, heredity, pollution, inadequate physical activity…
Every day hair grows approximately 0, 3 to 0, 5 millimeters. Even, if you loose 100 hairs daily is no reason for concern, of course if this doesn’t last too long. However, if you notice intensively hair loss that does not stop, you should definitely visit dermatologist.
