Sugar depilation
Ingredients: juice of half lemon one cup of sugar ¼ of honey cotton stripes wooden stick to apply depilator
Mix lemon juice, sugar and honey in waterproof bowl. Put in microwave and heat 2 minutes (stop heating every 20 seconds and mix). Cool mixture a bit, and apply on skin. Apply cotton stripes with both hands on applied depilator, and put in opposite direction of hair growth. Continue with procedure. If necessary, reheat mixture.
Sunblock
Ingredients: 1 spoon of zinc oxide 1, 5 spoon of sesame oil 1 spoon of rose water
Mix zinc oxide and sesame oil. Warm mixture and while mixing, slowly add rose water. Cool it and store in refrigerator for maximum 10 days.
Tomato for removal of spots Ingredients: tomato (peeled and mashed) 1 spoon of lemon juice 1 spoon of oat flour
Mix ingredients in blender until mass becomes homogeneous. Apply on skin (cover the whole area treated). Leave 10 minutes. Rinse with water.
Homemade Deodorant
Modern, antiperspirant deodorants can not be prepared at home. They contain substances that prevent sweating by closing pores, and are available only from industrial production. However, certain deodorants can be prepared at home. They do not prevent sweating, but do block bacterias, that create unpleasant smells. The simplest and most natural deodorant is soda bicarbonate, because it perfectly neutralizes smell of sweat. Soda bicarbonate can also be applied on wet clean clothes, just shake off the excess soda bicarbonate and leave fiber to dry.
Fluid deodorant
Ingredients: ¼ cup of aloe ¼ of cup of mineral water 1 spoon of glycerin few drops of your favorite essential oil
Mix ingredients and pour into sprayer. Shake before use.
Powder deodorant
Ingredients: ½ soda bicarbonate ½ cup of corn starch few drops of essential oil (lavender, cinnamon, for men cedar)
Mix ingredients and sprinkle over clothes as in example above.
Creamy deodorant
Ingredients: 15 g cocoa butter 15 g bees wax 1 spoon of glycerin 1 spoon of rose water
Melt cocoa butter and bees wax on steam or low fire. Remove from fire and add glycerin and rose water. Add few drops of essential oil (marigold, eucalyptus, lavender, lemon, ...) Mix before use.
Herbal deodorant in powder
Ingredients: 2 parts of finely ground sandalwood 1 part of finely ground oak bark 1 part of finely ground selenium
Mix ingredients in a blender into fine dust. Put powder in another bowl with aromatic dry herbs.
Stick deodorant
Ingredients: 4 part of corn starch 2 parts of soda bicarbonate 1 part of liquid chlorophyll 2 parts of vodka 2 parts of distiled water 8 parts of bees wax 10-15 drops of rose, coriander or some other essential oil
Mix all ingredients, except bees wax, chlorophyll and oil. Melt bees wax on steam or low fire. Add other ingredients (except chlorophyll and oil). If wax hardens, put on low fire again. When mixture starts to cool, but before it hardens, add chlorophyll and at the end essential oils. Pour mixture into mold and wait until it cools. Store in refrigerator. Best peelings...
Peeling with grapefruit
Ingredients: 1 or 1, 5 cup of sugar 8 drops of grapefruit essential oil 2 drops of red food coloration if you want mixture to have better color ¼ cup of jojoba oil ¼ of liquid soap
Put sugar in a bowl and add essential oil and food coloration. Mix well. Add other ingredients, mix and place in clean bowl. Use while showering for removing dead cells from the skin and for skin regeneration.
Special peeling Ingredients: ½ of liquid glycerin ½ cup of water 2, 5 to 3 cups of brown or white sugar or kitchen salt (finely ground) 1 spoon of coconut oil or butter 6 drops of some essential oil or combination of essential oils
Mix glycerin, water, cup of sugar or salt until the mixture unites. Add remaining sugar or salt. Melt butter in smaller bowl (do not overheat). Mix butter with prior mixture and add essential oil. Use after bathing as peeling for skin softening.
Spa peeling with honey
Ingredients: 1 cup of salt or sugar 3 spoons of liquid glycerin 1 spoon of honey 3-5 drops of essential oil add pressed leaves of lavender, chamomile or some other dry aromatic flower.
Mix ingredients and keep them in hermetically closed bowl. Shake before use. Honey works as preservative. Use this peeling for elbows, knees, feet. You can also use it on body and face, but do not press too much. Be careful around eye area. Rinse with warm water and apply lotion.
