Lemon, mint and rosemary for elastic skin

Skin is elastic and healthy only, if it's hydrated properly. Among many treatments, traditionally medicine also recognizes few herbs, that contribute to skin's elasticity. If you plan to loose some weight, or if you would just like to improve condition of your skin, follow these simple advices.
Lemon has great effect on blood circulation. Thanks to its vitamin C content, lemon is also known as powerful antioxidant. Lemon is traditionally used when having problems with insect bites and when treating sore throat. Bioflavonoids from lemon reduce fragility of veins and capillaries. Lemon essential oil stimulates blood circulation, for this reason is a good fighter against cellulite and a quality medicine for skin tightening. Lemon in cosmetic preparations has antiseptic, astringent and healing features.
Fresh mint and mint extract cause cooling effects, thus mint is often used for treatments of tired feet, and to drainage excess fluid from them. Locally, mint has anesthetic features, and when applied on skin, mint has great tightening effect.          
Rosemary is applied in rheumatic therapies and when having problems with circulation. For this reason, rosemary is used in many products for skin and hair care. Rosemary is powerful anti-oxidant, for this reason rosemary is important ingredients in many anti-age products. Besides that, rosemary has anti-septic features. Essential oil of rosemary awakens spirit, tightens skin and reduces swelling and inflammation.

Sandalwood and Cotton for Skin Hydration  

Dehydration is a major problem in all skin types, and as mentioned above proper hydration is essential for skin with youthful appearance. There are also certain essential oils that improve skin hydration. 

Sandalwood

Santalum album, Latin name for expensive oil, made of sandalwood tree, originating from mountains of India. This oil has sensual scent and is often used in perfume industry. Sandalwood oil is applied when treating mucous membrane changes. Sandalwood essential oil is also used with bladder or throat inflammation. In cosmetic preparations sandalwood maintains moisture in upper skin layers.

Cotton            

Cotton oil is an extract gained from grains of cotton, which are rich in vitamin E and contains more than 40% unsaturated fatty acids. In cosmetics, cotton oil, in combination with other ingredients, represents great product for maintenance of skin elasticity and its moisture.

Polyphenols from grapes for regeneration   

Polyphenols are natural herbal anti-oxidants, that slow down the process of aging. Black grapes are one of the richest sources of polyphenols.
Polyphenols from grapes are powerful anti-oxidants that slow down the process of aging and fight against free radicals. Oil from grape seeds contains high level of unsaturated fatty acids (olein acid and linolin acid), which have nutritive and softening effect on skin. Water in grapes contains nutritive sugar, thus is perfect source of hydration. Ivy and Birch against Cellulite
