When child is emotionally and physically healthy it is the greatest gift we can receive. Many studies have showed link between emotional and physical health and child's capability for successful learning. For that reason wellbeing of a child influences his or her behavior, as well as ability to concentrate on specific tasks. Children are our treasure
We should learn child how move up responsibility for keeping balance between good health and vitality. We have to focus on main 'areas' and take care, that child gets the right massage and learns how to take responsibility and learns how to take care for own wellbeing. What is the focus?
It is essential that our child gets the 'right messages' on following 4 ares:
1. Appropriate nutrition
2. Physical activity
4. Stress avoidance How to create good message?
Children are easily influenced and love to imitate. So, the easiest way to influence them is to be a good role model with your own actions. For example:
1. repeat good habits- make them golden rules: healthy food, brushing teeth
2. show interest for child's physical development: for example measure child's height on a visible place in your home
3. be supportive at activities for which your child has a interest First advice: How to teach a child to have healthy eating habits?
Let's make something clear first. Children are totally dependable on the food that YOU PREPARE! For that reason, this is the only real time you can practically teach them what is healthy and good and what isn't. Do not forget that you are the one who can in great deal influence child's normal body weight and this way also protect from many illnesses, such as diabetes, high blood pressure etc. This is not easy, I know. In practice children are bombed with adds about sweets and fast food, but you have the power to protect them from that, just do the following:
a) Prepare food that is 'child-friendly': fruit salads, vegetable soups, vegetable bites ... Try make it your child's best food.
b) Emphasis the quality of food: take your child shopping and choose food that you're going to buy together. Teach your child what is important when buying food. A good trick is also to grow herbs at your home.
c) Use cooking books for children: this way you'll make sure your child knows there are many good and healthy dishes. Second advice: Move!
It is scientifically proven that children who are not active are also more likely to lead 'sitting life style' when adult. Physical activity importantly influences healthy child development. Not only that child gains motoric skills, but also self esteem and mental capabilities. Sport is great opportunity for child's social and emotional development. So, the question is: what to do so that child starts moving:
a) Go outdoors: kids love being on 'fresh' air. Go for a walk after lunch, play with ball...
b) Motivation with music:
c) Children love to dance on certain music. Encourage that!

Limit time in front of computer and television. Make routine into game – everything is much easier then. Third Advice: Peace, rest and sleep
Rest is basic child's need. For that reason we must enable good and peaceful rest. Unfortunately, there are many children who have chronic lack of sleep which has negative influence on mental capabilities, concentration, emotional stability and growth. Learn how to enable good rest:
a) rest schedule
Child must have 'sleeping order'. That means going to bed always at the same time, besides daily activities should also be scheduled more or less. It is important that child has regular meals at approximately same time.
b) ritual before sleep
Before your child goes to bed, have a ritual: washing, brushing teeth, reading book, talking, listening music...In conclusion
Family relations do influence understanding of child's world. With you being focused on well being of all family members and good relations, child will easily learn how to take care of own wellbeing. Positive experiences about health, vitality and peace that child gains in early life, leaven child's optimistic view of life.
