Have a question about artificial nails. Anyone on forums wore them? How long to they last? Does the glue damages natural nails? And then, if i want to remove them – how do i do that?

Yes, nails are usually damaged. They are somehow thinned, and they can be esp damaged if artificial nails (acrylic or some other) are improperly removed. Thus, don't remove them by force- like chipping them off, biting or picking- this way you'll only cause a damaged nail and nail plate. You remove them by soaking the product off with a removal product, or by growing them off slowly. Be gentle, or even better get them removed by professional.

It is not necessary you'll have damaged hair after removing artificial nails: if artificial nails are properly removed and if beautician was gentle when filing your nails, then everything should be fine. They are a bit soft at first, but then they get toughen up in the next few days.

It depends – if you work with water a lot, than they won't last too long, but otherwise they can last up to 14 days . If you plan to have done acrylic nails, you should get them removed after 2 weeks or even sooner cos your natural nails will start to show.
