Hello Jolly!
I was once on this diet- it is not easy diet at all, but ok, it is best if you try it yourself.
The main ingredient of brown-rice-diet is organic brown rice (need 2 or 2, 5 cups of water on one cup rice, bring to boil and then turn fire to low for 45 minutes, in the last 15 minutes, you can add onions, spices or herbs)
Second main ingredients are all kinds of organic vegetables, except corn and mushrooms. Vegetables are best eaten fresh (raw), but can also be eaten steamed or baked, but no frozen, canned or jarred vegetables. When preparing salads use lemon and olive oil (if any).
Besides vegetables also fruits! Again organic fruits, avoid bananas, oranges (arrange juice) and dried fruit. Fruit is best eaten haft hour before meal or 2 hours after meal.
Oh, yes, one more thing. Try to keep the consumption of fruits, vegetables and rice separate. Proper combination of foods results in easier digestion.
About beverages- best is water, herbal teas like chamomile, mint are also allowed. If drinking juices, drink only fresh, homemade juices without added sugar (half water-half fruit juice). Definitely avoid canned or jarred juices, soft drinks and alcohol. Liquids are best drunk half hour before or one hour after eating.
This diet takes 7 days and is not an easy diet, trust me, although you can eat whenever you are hungry, and as often as you like (better to eat more smaller meals than 3 large) . I had quite inconveniences during brown-rice-diet- drop sugar etc., but after I was done I lost 6 lbs and felt great, like my body was clean, lighter, and I felt taller. Most important when going back on regular eating habits (still avoiding jusnk food and similar + you have to slowly get off brown-rice-diet) I gained not more than 2 ponds, which I consider a great success. In conclusion, I think brown-rice-diet was worth all the trouble and would do it again if necessary.
