Term is actually called just gynecomastia, without celebrity. I am sure many celebrities do gynecomastia, but it is not called celebrity gynecomastia, but just gynecomastia. Since we got this cleared up, lets go to the definition of gynecomastia. You know when some men have boobs like women do….ever seen something like this? Mostly these men are overweight, but this is not necessary- there is actually no known cause for gynecomastia. So, men have larger breast then they should have (culturally determined picture of a man), and I am sure enlarged breast influence their self esteem.
Did you know that gynecomastia term comes from the Greek word and it means ‘women like breast’? And did you know that not just celebrities have gynecomastia, but about more than half of men population is affected by gynecomastia? |
