Here is a list of ingredients in clinique acne solutions spot healing gel:
Salacylic acid 1.0%, alcohol denat, witch hazel, acrylates/c10-30 alkyl acrylate crosspolymer, benzalkonium chloride, farnesyl acetate, panthenyl tricetate, farnesol (iln22724).
Salacylic acid is naturally found in combination with various alcohols. Salacylic acid acts as an antiseptic, cartolizer, and anti-inflammatory. I think salacylic acid is one of main ingredients in clinique acne solutions spot healing gel that helps treating acne. Because clinique acne solutions spot healing gel contains salacylic acid, do not apply it at the entire face, because it may dry your face.
Alcohol denat is denatured alcohol and therefore it is not fit for human consumption, as it is poisonous. Alcohol denat is most often used in fragrances- Muslims are allowed to use fragrances only with alcohol denat. Witch hazel is one of natural remedies used in treatment of acne.
Acrylates/c10-30 alkyl acrylate crosspolymer is a chemical used in personal hygiene, household, industry…
Benzalkonium chloride primarily in hand or face washes- it is also used in acne treatment. Benzalkonium chloride also killed the AIDS virus in laboratory studies.
Farnesyl acetate, panthenyl tricetate, and farnesol are also very often used in acne treatment gels, and are also clinique acne solutions spot healing gel ingredients.
