| I read that coconut oil helps deal with wrinkles prevention. Anyone tried this method? How exactly is coconut oil used in wrinkle prevention. It seems a bit too oily to go out with coconut oil in face... |

Yes, i agree it is too oily for going out with it, for that reason use it before bedtime.
Coconut oil is applied very simply - with fingers gently massage with circular moves on face and neck, decollete.
And then in the morning wash that parts with coconut oil or you can remove them with cleanser), i think it is simply better to take a shower. So, you pat dry and then apply daily moisturising cream on face and neck.
Nature gave us a lot from its medicine cabinet, we just need to recognize the remedies and learn how to use them: coconut oil is effective in wrinkle prevention- contains anti-oxidants and moisturizes skin above all.
Make sure you use organic coconut oil. |

Coconut oil is not effective just in wrinkle prevention, it helps balancing many disorders.
For example, coconut oil lowers cholesterol, it improves condition in those with diabetes, balances digestion, it promotes healthy thyroid function, increases metabolism, and yes, among many other things prevents wrinkles and rejuvenates skin. |

Ohmygosh, this is so great! It also gives a beautiful vibrant young glow to the skin and gets rid of any dullness. I actually use it under my makeup and in the day. The trick is to just use a teeny tiny bit.. just enough, not too much, and thin it out with water. Yes, it is oily, but if you thin it with water, it's just perfect. And one of the few things I can put under my eyes, on my eyelids, etc. without them swelling up, because my skin is very sensitive. It's spectacular for keeping wrinkles at bay and seems to firm the upper eyelids too! Better than most expensive creams, though I use them too.. I actually find it works better than most of them, just that it is oily, so you have to use very sparingly, unless as part of a facial.
You can do a similar thing with olive oil. Spread it over your face before bed, leave it for 10 or 15 minutes, then pat most of it off with wet cottonballs, leaving just a little remnant which is thinner and you sleep in it and wake up with beautiful smooth skin.. Trick is to thin these oils with water. |

olive oil is ok too, but coconut smells so much better.
Actually, i know olive oil is healthy and everything, but the smell is somehow ..ugh..i don't like it ...not in my salad or on my face.
You thin with water? This is great idea... i am having some problems with appliance- somehow too thick to apply sparingly...so, i just wet my fingers when i apply and goes on more smoothly. Do you actually mix coconut and water, or how do you do it? |
