Hello!
I am lifting (not very heavy) weights on bench, cos I need to improve tone of my muscles on hands (biceps and triceps)- I have a question about that. I am lifting 10 pounds, which is enough for woman. I am doing 3 series of 15 every day. How long- how many seconds should I hold weights in optimum position when doing strength exercises? |

| Are you lifting weights on bench? If I understand you right- when you lift weights to the highest point, right? If this is the case, it is ok to have weights in this position not more than 2-3 seconds. Exercises for strength are effecting when lifting weights- so when muscles are doing their job, not so much when holding weights in certain position- I mean muscles are then also working, but not as much when you are pushing weights up. |
